    Racecourse accreditation and pilot events

    Back to all news

On behalf of all connected to the sport, we are looking forward to the forthcoming pilot events scheduled to take place at Warwick Racecourse on Monday 21st September and Newmarket Racecourses’ Cambridgeshire Meeting on Thursday 24th — Saturday 26th September as a further test of horseracing’s protocols to safely welcome back crowds.

Please note that as is currently, ALL RCA and centrally issued accreditation remains invalid until further notice and will not permit admission to either of these pilot events or any subsequent pilot events. For the avoidance of doubt, unless you have a ticket issued by either Warwick or Newmarket Racecourses, or have arranged for owners’ badges with a declared runner, you will not be able to gain entry.

This is because of the requirement for all personnel on-course to be pre-registered as the sport supports the NHS Test & Trace initiative and the strict attendance limits that have been set as a condition to host the events. We thank you in advance for your understanding.

The Jockey Club are sorry to those they can’t currently welcome and very much look forward to a time when they can safely invite you back. In the meantime stay involved with all of the racing action from Warwick and Newmarket from the comfort of your home at https://www.thejockeyclub.co.uk/racing-at-home/

We are grateful for your continued support of British Racing.
